Sexy for Less

So I was devastated when "All of my Purple Life" an Afrobella inspired lipglass by MAC was sold out. I never thought I could go on without a purple lipstick. (Though, to be honest I never thought about the notion of purple lipstick until it came out.) UNTIL one Sunday at church an equally chocolate beauty had on this GAWJUS purple lipstick. I was like OMGOMGOMG where did you get it from? I was shocked when she said the hair store and for 99 cents.  Who doesn't love to look good for less? Well the color is called Brilliant Fuschia and the brand is called Kiss. And it's awesome. A picture of me rockin (and lovin) the lipstick is below. And that was my beauty share of the day.

Hobbies for the sexually deprived

One of my all time favorite hobbies is finding new hobbies. With that being said, my newest hobby is learning to sew. We're basically in the raw materials stage but I'll keep y'all posted!

But that's not what you asked....?

You asked about my boyfriend. I had none. You asked why. I answered, gave a preview of "the list". I talk too much. You filled in the requirements with your attributes. The interview-er, became the interview-ee. And then returned to interviewing. You asked for my time. I gave it. I asked for yours, you lent it. You took me, I shared it. You left, you were gone. I missed the exit, kept my "friend". Although that position is staffed. Maybe next time you should not ask about positions you haven't a wish to fill.

The Ring

All of a sudden, it seems like I'm obsessed with it. The Ring. Capital R. I wave at my neighbor, the sun catches his wedding band. Everyone I meet-- the sales associate, customers, church attendees, etc-- my eyes graze over the hand for the quick ring check. Then the mental calculation--my empty left hand is the right on them. And without fail it seems everyone else has The Ring. The girl at the coffee shop, the
Newcomers at church, the random acquaintances. I look down at my finger and I try to imagine....The Ring. And the promise of a lifetime of love that it signifies.
